we are in the holy presence of God
May God continue to live in our hearts

Intention of the Day
For the poor in our society.
For the growth of the Marist Association.
For the poor in our society.
For the growth of the Marist Association.
Today's Gospel Wednesday of Holy Week.
The Son of man is going to his fate, as the scriptures say he will, but alas for that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed!
Matthew 26:14-25
Breaking Open The Word
Confronted by Judas in today’s Gospel, I can imagine why some have tried to rationalize away the harsh reality of his betrayal.

Marist Source
Champagnat did not go to visit, he went to “meet” the young Montagne; he did not go to pass judgment or analyse a situation, but to meet “someone” who, like him, had a history, a truth, a reality. He did not look at the youth based on … what to expect from a 17-year-old youth of that time. Both persons met at the point where each one was.
For the poor in our society.
For the growth of the Marist Association.
To Ponder
'My time is near'- real time, NOW time, is always near; past time is gone, future time isn't yet, both constructs.
Where has the Spirit drawn you in today's prayer?
Closing Prayer
All Loving God
Cultivate in us a spirituality that flows out of Marian simplicity, humility and modesty.
Release in us wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitement for your work in which we share.
Help us set our gaze on those people and places most in need of Christlife,
Impel us to respond together,
And lead us to be in communion with one another, and with you.
Like Mary, we listen for your invitation,
Like Mary, we set out joyfully and in haste to the hill country of the lives of young people,
Like Mary, we build communities in ways that are Christ-centred.
All Loving God, come and live in our hearts.
Amen
