Let us always remember that
we are in the holy presence of God
May God continue to live in our hearts
In the name of the Father,
Son and Holy Spirit

Intention of the Day
That we have apostolic hearts.
All Marists involved in youth ministry.
That we have apostolic hearts.
All Marists involved in youth ministry.
Today's Gospel.
'But you,' he said to them, 'who do you say I am?' It was Peter who spoke up. 'The Christ of God,' he said.
Luke 9: 18-22.
Breaking Open The Word
But if we really want divine guidance, we may need to be willing to say 'It's time to let go in the face of all kinds of good reasons to hang on.
Taken from: Give Us This Day
That we have apostolic hearts.
All Marists involved in youth ministry.
Marist Source
In contemplating Mary in the Scriptures we impregnate ourselves with her spirit. We go without delay into the 'hill country' of the lives of young people, bringing them news of the justice and faithful mercy of God....we become the face of Mary to them.
How effectively do you bring this Marial heart to your ministry?
That we have apostolic hearts.
All Marists involved in youth ministry.
To Ponder
'Who do you say'- who's been looking up the answers in the back of the book? - in reality we struggle with our answers.
Where has the Spirit drawn you in today's prayer?
Closing Prayer
All Loving God
Cultivate in us a spirituality that flows out of Marian simplicity, humility and modesty.
Release in us wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitement for your work in which we share.
Help us set our gaze on those people and places most in need of Christlife,
Impel us to respond together,
And lead us to be in communion with one another, and with you.
Like Mary, we listen for your invitation,
Like Mary, we set out joyfully and in haste to the hill country of the lives of young people,
Like Mary, we build communities in ways that are Christ-centred.
All Loving God, come and live in our hearts.
Amen
