Let us always remember that
we are in the holy presence of God
May God continue to live in our hearts
In the name of the Father,
Son and Holy Spirit

Today's Gospel
Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the message of eternal life, ... we have come to know that you are the Holy One of God.
John 6: 60-69.
Breaking Open The Word
Acceptance is neither passive resignation nor simple capitulation, but active, imaginative, open-hearted reframing of what is given us to work with.

Marist Source
The story of our spirituality is indeed a simple one. It is a story of women and men who find within a thirst that only God can quench.
As disciples of Jesus and Marcellin we are invited to wash one another’s feet as a manifestation of our love for one another.
That God disturbs us to new actions.
Brothers' Community at Moola Road.
To Ponder
‘You have the message of eternal life.’ Peter gives himself completely to Christ. If I put myself in Peter’s place, how will I respond to Christ’s question?
Where has the Spirit drawn you in today's prayer?
Closing Prayer
All Loving God
Cultivate in us a spirituality that flows out of Marian simplicity, humility and modesty.
Release in us wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitement for your work in which we share.
Help us set our gaze on those people and places most in need of Christlife,
Impel us to respond together,
And lead us to be in communion with one another, and with you.
Like Mary, we listen for your invitation,
Like Mary, we set out joyfully and in haste to the hill country of the lives of young people,
Like Mary, we build communities in ways that are Christ-centred.
All Loving God, come and live in our hearts.
Amen
