Let us always remember that
we are in the holy presence of God
May God continue to live in our hearts
In the name of the Father,
Son and Holy Spirit

Intention of the Day
That we follow Christ as Mary did.
The Brothers’ Community at Ashgrove.
That we follow Christ as Mary did.
The Brothers’ Community at Ashgrove.
Today's Gospel. The Visitation.
The Almighty has done great things for me. Holy is his name,
Luke 1: 39-56.
Breaking Open The Word
Like Mary and Elizabeth, we can fearlessly participate in all the new things God is doing in our lives, our Church, and our world.
Taken from: Give Us This Day
That we follow Christ as Mary did.
The Brothers’ Community at Ashgrove.
Marist Source
Wherever we are, then, we undertake to build community among all associated with each of our institutions and activities, including those who work alongside us, the young in our care and their families…
With Mary at Pentecost we see the early Church manifesting this wondrous sense of community. How do I build community in my context?
That we follow Christ as Mary did.
The Brothers’ Community at Ashgrove.
To Ponder
'Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.' Today can I be an 'Elizabeth' to another person? Do I see Christ in others?
Where has the Spirit drawn you in today's prayer?
Closing Prayer
All Loving God
Cultivate in us a spirituality that flows out of Marian simplicity, humility and modesty.
Release in us wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitement for your work in which we share.
Help us set our gaze on those people and places most in need of Christlife,
Impel us to respond together,
And lead us to be in communion with one another, and with you.
Like Mary, we listen for your invitation,
Like Mary, we set out joyfully and in haste to the hill country of the lives of young people,
Like Mary, we build communities in ways that are Christ-centred.
All Loving God, come and live in our hearts.
Amen
