we are in the holy presence of God
May God continue to live in our hearts

Today's Gospel. Saint Mary Magdalen.
But go to the brothers, and tell them: I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.
John 20: 1- 2, 11- 18.
Breaking Open The Word
We can recall Mary at the tomb and remember that grief is often a sign of great love. How blessed are we to have loved and been loved.

Marist Source
Marcellin Champagnat was a man of work, a sworn enemy of laziness. Dogged effort and total confidence in God were characteristic of the ways he educated himself, ministered to parishioners, founded his religious family and undertook all his projects…
As Marists we strive to bring these same qualities of effort and confidence in God to all we undertake.
That we be open to ongoing formation.

To Ponder
“ Why are you weeping? “ – How is God touching me in times of sadness and vulnerability?
Where has the Spirit drawn you in today's prayer?
Closing Prayer
All Loving God
Cultivate in us a spirituality that flows out of Marian simplicity, humility and modesty.
Release in us wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitement for your work in which we share.
Help us set our gaze on those people and places most in need of Christlife,
Impel us to respond together,
And lead us to be in communion with one another, and with you.
Like Mary, we listen for your invitation,
Like Mary, we set out joyfully and in haste to the hill country of the lives of young people,
Like Mary, we build communities in ways that are Christ-centred.
All Loving God, come and live in our hearts.
Amen
