Let us always remember that
we are in the holy presence of God
May God continue to live in our hearts
In the name of the Father,
Son and Holy Spirit

Intention of the Day
That we do all that we can to foster young people’s responses to God’s invitations.

Today's Gospel.
But he warned them and would not allow them to speak because they knew that he was the Christ.
Luke 4: 38 - 44.
Breaking Open The Word
In my own life, I have found repeatedly that returning to silence and gently asking God for guidance allows me to reconnect with my internal compass.

Marist Source
…when people share their thoughts and recognise that all are sons and daughters of God, they develop and deepen ideas and attitudes. In groups each member is welcomed as a unique individual and valued as such.
Let us remember that Jesus called each person he encountered, to “follow me!”
That we do all that we can to foster young people’s responses to God’s invitations.

To Ponder
What is me is ailing? What do I ask Jesus to lay his hands on me to cure?
Where has the Spirit drawn you in today's prayer?

All Loving God
Cultivate in us a spirituality that flows out of Marian simplicity, humility and modesty.
Release in us wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitement for your work in which we share.
Help us set our gaze on those people and places most in need of Christlife,
Impel us to respond together,
And lead us to be in communion with one another, and with you.
Like Mary, we listen for your invitation,
Like Mary, we set out joyfully and in haste to the hill country of the lives of young people,
Like Mary, we build communities in ways that are Christ-centred.
All Loving God, come and live in our hearts.
Amen
