Luke 5: 33 - 39.
Breaking Open The Word
This love beyond telling embraces us in our brokenness, not after we have gotten our act together.
Taken from: Give Us This Day
That we do not isolate ourselves from the poor.

Marist Source
We Christian men and women with very different histories and very different cultures share the call to live the Marist charism…we thank God for the gift of being part of a family that speaks a thousand languages and has one single heart.
Let us remember today our Marist world in all its vibrant manifestations!
That we do not isolate ourselves from the poor.
The Brothers’ Community, Blacktown, NSW.
To Ponder
“New cloak”, “new wine”, “new wineskins” …. What newness in life am I relishing? What of the old am I clinging on to?
Where has the Spirit drawn you in today's prayer?
Closing Prayer
All Loving God
Cultivate in us a spirituality that flows out of Marian simplicity, humility and modesty.
Release in us wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitement for your work in which we share.
Help us set our gaze on those people and places most in need of Christlife,
Impel us to respond together,
And lead us to be in communion with one another, and with you.
Like Mary, we listen for your invitation,
Like Mary, we set out joyfully and in haste to the hill country of the lives of young people,
Like Mary, we build communities in ways that are Christ-centred.
All Loving God, come and live in our hearts.
Amen
